Is Victoria's lockdown working?

Victorians know life in lockdown better than anybody else in Australia. On the three previous occasions the state has gone into a lockdown, the measure eventually achieved its aims. But this time it's a little different, with a new, more infectious variant spreading in the community, and at least one case that’s still a mystery. So is the lockdown working so far? And could it drag on past Friday?
