Is Enough Being Done To Promote The Irish Language?

Proposed legislation to promote the Irish language is set to be strengthened through tens of new amendments to the current legislation. Under new laws, 20% of new recruits to the public service will need to be competent in Irish and at least 20% of advertising carried out by public bodies will need to be as Gaeilge.
