Interview with the Owners of Seras Salon - Frank and Elsa Melero

Frank and Elsa are one of the best couples ever. They are a power couple. They both have a heart of gold. Elsa, a registered nurse who was on the frontline health worker and Frank a musician and an author, they both have a passion to help people. The salon means everything to them. They want to build a great foundation for their kids and that is the most important part. Our interview was fun and amazing. They are so down to earth, positive and great people. Frank has a wonderful heart and he knows how to impact, motivate and inspire. Their salon is like paradise you can pick and choose, your pampering for the day. They do hair, nails, skin care, waxing, eyelashes, and so much more. ALL ABOUT FRANK AND ELSA: Husband and Wife team, Frank and Elsa Melero had a long road ahead of them when their brand new business had to shut-down before it even opened, mid-renovation for their salon, Serás Salon which halted in March 2020. – Frank and Elsa Melero, Husband and Wife, Owners and Parents to two younger children, announced that they official re-open their salon, Serás Salon in Northridge, CA. Purchased by the couple in 2019, they saved all their money to renovate and re-build a beloved salon that had been a staple in that shopping center since the 90’s. Elsa Melero splits her time as a front-line health care worker, helping out and pushing for progress during the pandemic as well as helping Frank renovate and rebuild the salon during her far and few between days off. The salon was a passion project for the two of them, which quickly turned into a hopeful project. “It’s painful and tiring now, but we’re doing it for our kids”, Frank says while taking a minute to catch his breath after a long, tiring day of work. The salon was supposed to be a way to have a solid foundation and a family business, so their two kids can grow up working with the family.
