International Belgian Musical Artist Roselien Interview

In this episode, we have special guest Belgian Musical Artist Roselien.<br /><br />About Roselien:<br /><br />Roselien’s new EP ‘Seventh Ascension’ is a reflection of her time in London. She moved from <br />Brussels to London to pursue a career in music but initially had to work as a kitchen designer for Ikea and hand out flyers for a living.<br />On ‘Seventh Ascension’ Roselien creates a universe of her own by using drum samples of Dr. Dre and Timbaland, a Roland JX3P synthesizer, and Ableton. Her emotions and struggle are expressed in the four songs she produced herself and she played every instrument you can hear on the EP.<br />She has opened for artists such as Meshell Ndegeocello, Gregory Porter, The Jones Girls, Bilal and <br />Gabriel Garzon Montano. She performed in venues in London such as The Jazz Cafe, Rich Mix, <br />LayLow, Kansas Smitty’s, The Lexington, and Piano Smithfield’s as well as venues in Belgium such as Ancienne Belgique, Le Botanique, Reflektor in Liège and venues in Rotterdam such as Bird and <br />Lantarenvenster.
