<p>Extreme weather continues to wallop much of the nation - with Californians dealing with something they're not used to - snow! With as much as 6 and a half feet in some places, the National Weather Service says it’s one of the worst storms to ever hit the Golden State. And for 500 students on a science trip... it's meant a much longer field trip than expected! And<strong>&nbsp;</strong>you may have seen video of the latest student attack that sent a teacher to the hospital. Well, now, the family of that teacher's aide is speaking out. Plus<strong>,&nbsp;</strong>raw emotion on&nbsp;<em>American Idol</em>&nbsp;as a tearful Katy Perry went on a rant about school shootings in America. It was sparked by one of the contestants, a school shooting survivor, whose eight classmates and two teachers were massacred five years ago. They call it the school shooting America forgot.
