Paul Derry, a career criminal and informant on why crime doesn't pay.</span></span></div> </div> <div> </div> <div><span class="" style="font-size: 12pt;">Paul Derry started playing both sides of the law at age 15 when an RCMP officer inquired about his friend's pot stash in exchange for $20. Paul then ran to warn his friend.</span></div> <div> </div> <div><span class="" style="font-size: 12pt;">That tip led to a career as an informer where Paul fed the RCMP and municipal police agencies across Canada. His information led to taking down multiple targets involved in home invasions, drug dealing, violent and sexual assaults and weapons trafficking. Yet Paul never stopped working on both sides and honed his fraud artist and drug dealer skills. In 1992, Paul was arrested and sentenced to 7 years in the federal prison system.<br class="" />  <br class="" /> In 2000, Paul found himself behind the wheel as the driver in a Hells Angels assassination. It didn't have to end that way. Paul had informed his contacts at the RCMP officers hoping it would stop the hit. It didn't, and shortly after, local police arrested Paul Derry for murder.</span></div> <div> </div> <div><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span class="">To save himself, and even though the Hells Angels were growing suspicious of Paul Derry, he agreed to wear that wire. <br class="" /> <br class="" /> Paul also talks about what it is like to enter Canada's Witness Protection Plan and what it is like to live as a ghost.
