In the Name of Jesus Christ

Rather, there is authority and identity behind the name. Many great acts happened in the Bible because Jesus' name was invoked. Jesus' name is tied to healing, miracles and salvation. Praying in Jesus' name declares that we come to God through the standing which has been granted to us by our High Priest! We must not take this name lightly. It is the name which is above every name. There is no other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved.
