IN HIS HANDS

<p style="text-align:center;">Greetings in Christ!</p> <p style="text-align:center;"> </p> <p style="text-align:center;"></p> <p>While we go through difficult times as believers in America and around the world, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on a beautiful thought, and it is this: “Our Times are in His Hands”. Yes, I really pray that we could be truly one nation under God, however our nation is so divided, and it really sadden me.</p> <p>The entire chapter of Psalm 31 tells the story of David, who was a man after God's heart, speaking of the difficulties he was facing and his resolve to continue to trust God. Especially referring to “times” that were beyond his understanding.</p> <p>The main verse of scripture that is powerfully encouraging is in Psalm 31:15 (NKJV) 15 My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me.</p> <p>The “times” being spoken of here in this scripture refer to the various events that come into our lives, whether we see them as good or bad.</p> <p>Often, the events or “times” we see as “bad” are the very times that move us closer to our destiny in Christ than the good times.</p> <p>When we realize that God knows the “times and seasons” of our lives, then we can have tremendous confidence in His loving care as we walk through those times.</p> <p>While He may not have been the author of every event, I have found He can USE every event to draw us closer to Him.</p> <p>If our hearts are desirous for the things of God, then I believe we can stand on scriptures like this one: Psalm 37:23 (NKJV) 23 The steps of a good man (or woman) are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his way.</p> <p>The person in whom God delights is one who follows God, trusts him, and tries to do his will. God watches over and makes firm every step that a person takes.</p> <p>I would encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord as you navigate these challenging “times,” but know that God is good!</p> <p style="text-align:center;"></p> <
