She read a lot and tried to absorb the advice and wisdom.<br/>Vic decided to write a book about the – mostly kind – things people said, and did, in the short period between the sudden death of her niece&apos; death and the funeral.  She has always enjoyed words and took to writing about her overwhelming experiences following the sudden death of her niece, Mary-Lou, in 2020.<br/>She came up with the working title Sixteen Days after spending a long time reflecting.
