IMSA Race Team Owner & Entrepreneur - Simon Dawson

<p>Imagine being your dad's shadow on track with legends...Mario Andretti, F1, Lola. Our guest, Simon Dawson, grew up with racing in his DNA and has incredible stories to share with you. As our Athenians hear from many of our STEM role models, his is also a path with many twists and turns. While he loved the racing industry his parents wanted him to take a different path. He became a professional tennis player ranking in the Top 25 in the world, but the lure of racing couldn’t be denied and an opportunity to work with Ferrari brought him to the States.</p> <p>Simon now leads three of the family businesses –<a href="https://dawsonracing.com" target="_blank"> Dawson Racing</a> an <a href="https://www.imsa.com">IMSA</a> team with the hypercar in the LMP3 class, <a href="https://stemgeninc.com" target="_blank">STEMgen</a> focused on providing sustainable STEM globally, and <a href="https://www.d3esports.com" target="_blank">D3eSports</a> a virtual <a href="https://forzamotorsport.net/en-US" target="_blank">Forza</a> racing series &nbsp;to engage children and adults on a gaming platform as a means of engaging community and providing educational entertainment.</p> <p><br></p> <p><strong>Time to start the engines, let’s do this!
