IMPACT Podcast - Dominique Vallee

<div><span data-ogsc="rgb(63, 63, 63)">At 18 our guest today left her home in Mont-Tremblant Quebec and moved to Whistler, BC, to pursue her dream of becoming a professional snowboarder. </span></div> <div> </div> <div><span data-ogsc="rgb(63, 63, 63)">With great perseverance she made the Canadian National snowboard team and represented Canada at the 2006 Olympic Games in Torino Italy in both halfpipe & snowboard-cross.  </span></div> <div><span data-ogsc="rgb(63, 63, 63)">She was on Team Canada for over a decade and competed in many World Championships, X Games around the globe.</span></div> <div><span data-ogsc="rgb(63, 63, 63)"> </span></div> <div><span data-ogsc="rgb(63, 63, 63)">Her father had Meuniere's disease affecting his inner-ear.  He saw many doctors & specialists and the only thing that would give him relief was the acupuncture and herbal formulas from a </span><span data-ogsc= "rgb(63, 63, 63)">wise, old, Chinese doctor.  She</span><span data-ogsc="rgb(63, 63, 63)"> quickly developed a great love, respect and passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).</span></div> <div> </div> <div><span data-ogsc="rgb(63, 63, 63)"> Over the years she would always go back to TCM as a way to help heal from snowboard injuries, boost her immune system or relieve stress. </span></div> <div> </div> <div><span data-ogsc="rgb(63, 63, 63)">In 2017 she become a certified Doctor of TCM and in 2020 co-founded The Whistler Clinic at Creekside, Whistler.</span></div> <div><span data-ogsc="rgb(63, 63, 63)"> </span></div> <div><span data-ogsc="rgb(63, 63, 63)">She is more passionate than ever about the power of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the life long journey of learning ahead.</span></div> <div> </div> <div><span data-ogsc="rgb(63, 63, 63)">A woman shaking up the understanding of medicine,  please welcome Dr. Dominique Vallee to our IMPACT Podcast!</span></div> <div> </div> <div>Social:  Instagram: @domvallee</div> <div>@thewhistlerclinic<span data-ogsc="rgb(63, 63, 63)">   </span></div>
