Imo Guber: LP candidate Achonu wins polling unit

<p>The governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Imo State, Athan Achonu, has won his polling unit with a wide margin despite the low turnout in the ongoing election.</p>, <p>Of the 734 registered voters in the polling unit where Achonu cast his ballot, 216 accredited voters participated.</p>, <p>The polling unit of the LP candidate is located in Umunumo hamlet in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area.</p>, <p>Achonu received 197 votes, whereas the incumbent governor, All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate, Hope Uzodinma, got only 16 votes. There were three reported invalid votes.</p>
