Imo governorship election: Hope Uzodinma takes massive lead, wins 20 LGAs

<p>The incumbent governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, is currently leading by a wide margin in the governorship election held on Saturday in the state.</p>, <p>The All Progressives Congress (APC), candidate has left his closest challengers and candidates of the Labour Party and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) far behind.</p>, <p>Uzodinma is currently leading in 20 local government areas out of 27 in the state, according to the results so far declared by INEC.</p>, <p>Early reports show that the incumbent governor and his party have recorded 430,218 already.</p>, <p>The Labour Party is far behind with 45,020 while the PDP has scored 45,698.</p>, <p>At the time of filing this report, the collation officer had declared a 30-minute break, starting at 6:45 am.</p>
