<p>Playing without Kofi Cockburn and Andre Curbelo the #24 Illini were able to hold off a 2nd half comeback from #10 Michigan State to win 56-55 in Champaign on Tuesday. Trent Frazier missed the front end of a 1-and-1 with Illinois holding a 56-54 lead with 6 seconds left, then fouled Michigan State with .2 seconds left. The Spartans missed the first free throw and made the second to end the game.
