Ifeanyi: Osinbajo commiserates with Davido, Chioma

<p>Three-year-old Ifeanyi reportedly drowned in a pool at the singer’s Banana Island residence on Monday, October 31, 2022.</p>, <p>It was reported that the nanny was with the toddler when the cook came to join them.</p>, <p>Osinabjo, in a tweet issued by his media aide Laolu Akande, said, ”VP on Ifeanyi’s death: “Dolly & I are greatly saddened by the tragic loss of Ifeanyi, the dear son of Davido & Chioma. We pray our Lord Jesus Christ will comfort & uphold both of them through this traumatic experience. Amen.</p>, <p>The child’s body was later found in the pool by a security guard 20 minutes later.</p>, <p>Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has commiserated with popular musician David Adeleke, also known as Davido, and Chioma Rowland over the death of their son, Ifeanyi.</p>, <p>The nanny claimed to have moved away to receive a call leaving the child with the cook who also insisted that he left the boy in the care of the nanny.</p>, <p>He described Ifeanyi’s death as a tragic loss.</p>, <p>He wrote: “It can be tough having to confirm certain incidents. My heart goes out to @davido and @thechefchi at this difficult period. May God grant them the much-needed strength to bear the loss.”</p>, <p>Osinbajo prayed that God would comfort and uphold both of them.</p>, <p>The Lagos State Police Command has said that unravelling the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke, the son of Nigerian singer, David also known as Davido, will be tough.</p>, <p>Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesman of the Command gave the update in a tweet.</p>, <p>”We also commiserate with our brother, Dr. Deji Adeleke and the entire Adeleke family. You are constantly in our thoughts and prayers.”</p>
