<p>After a tragic car accident left Michelle Kuei permanently disabled at the age of 11, she suffered years of depression and not wanting to be seen. An American immigrant, the idea of loving herself felt foreign to her. She played small for most of her life, until one day, she developed the desire to get out of her depressed state and decided to climb Machu Pitchu. That hike was the beginning of a major transformation for Michelle.
