If God is so good...?

<p>The classic question of the pessimist. &nbsp;They insist that God cannot be real because of all the evil that exists. They also are convinced that if God exists He does not have any power or He does not love mankind due to all the evil. How does one answer the critic(s)? Can we as believers provide a ready defense?
