IBTS Issue Pre-Amber Alert Amidst Urgent Ennis Blood Donation Clinics

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service has issued a pre-amber alert ahad of an urgent Blood Donation Clinic in Clare this afternoon. The alert means hospitals are being encouraged to conserve blood supplies amidst an immediate national shortage. A clinic will be held at Treacy's West County Hotel in Ennis from 4:50 this evening until 8:10 tonight. One in four Irish people will require a blood transfusion at some point and IBTS Donor Recruitment Executive & Broadford Native, Alex O'Connor says all donations have the power to save lives.
