I Learned Things At a JD Vance Speech

<p>History can tell you lots of things. But what it can't, or has never told me at least, is what it FELT like. I try to imagine the mood in the aftermath of the Revolution, when anything was possible, or in the runup to the Civil War, when nothing was. I strongly suspect the latter more closely resembles the present mood.</p> <p>I met JD Vance and three things stuck out to me.</p> <p>Like all hysterics, Rob Reiner is deluded in a second way; He does not know he is one, forgetting his own REPETITIVE history.</p> <p>“Democracy and liberty are not the same.
