I Keep The Wolf From The Door
Melanie.M
Description
For me, BDSM feels like balancing between two mental states at once. Being (and staying) open minded has taught me everything I know and gained me every experience I’ve had. It’s also brought me to every, single one of my boundaries. Some lessons are learned the easy way and some - not so much. I’ve had my fair share of both.

In this podcast, I talk about a pivotal submissive who I knew earlier in my career. He used his age and 40+ years of experience in BDSM to seamlessly position himself as my mentor. It quickly turned into a relationship that I began to dread. My ego wanted so badly to be the Ultimate Domme to this man who seemed so enthralled with my *potential* but my gut told me something was wrong.

These days, I’m very passionate about people forging their own way through BDSM because of experiences like this. I’ve had plenty of my own and I’ve witnessed some too. Only you know what your submission or domination looks and feels like and that’s a wonderful thing. Don’t let anybody leverage their personal preferences over your explorations. This is a self-led journey and you’re the only authority.

Keep the wolf from the door and I’ll bug you again next week ;)

xo Bastienne

PS.
