I have to work hard to get the results I want... Cathy's Coaching Session

<p>The belief that "I have to work hard to get the results" is a VERY common belief that has many small business owners exhausted AND without the results that they're working hard to get.</p> <p>And it's no surprise. We live in a world that glorifies the hustle. If you're the same age as me, it's likely your parents used to say things like "nothing comes easy", "life is hard" and "you don't get something for nothing"... and that's a just a few of the infinite library of "FACTS" that have been fed to use over the years. </p> <p>I don't know about you, but I notice in myself that as I absorbed this very male dominant message of "if you want it, you'll make your eyes bleed for it", I myself embodied a very alpha male personality. It was only really last year that I realised I stepped completely away from my femininity which affected both my business and personal life. </p> <p>Now, if that wasn't bad enough, we are now living in the "microwave culture" which means that we want everything now. Imagine how our brain then interprets the information.. you're working hard, you don't have the results yet and it's taking you ages... we see ourselves as a failure and so the story perpetuates that, "I'm obviously not working hard enough".</p> <p>In today's episode, Cathy kindly and courageously asks for coaching on this topic and my invitation to you is this. Take this coaching as YOURS. Notice where you feel resistance to what's being asked.. because that's likely where YOU need to go.
