<p>We have one life, treasure it, embrace it, and give it all we've got.</p><p>In this episode of the Happy Hustle Podcast, I share the 2 greatest lessons I learned from my near-death experience. This is one of the craziest experiences that led to my brother, sister, and I spending the day in the ER. </p><p>I almost died from carbon monoxide poisoning. But I made it and so did my brother, my sister, and my dad. So grateful to my two amazing dogs that woke me up in the middle of the night from an unconscious state after falling and gashing my head due to the poison overtaking my body. They legit saved our lives.</p><p>Here are the 2 greatest lessons I learned from my near-death experience. </p><p>Life is absolutely precious.<br /> Nothing in life is ever permanent so don’t take a moment for granted. Be grateful for every part. Don’t waste time.<br /> Spend time with the people who matter to you and treat every hello and goodbye with that type of urgency. </p><pre><code> 2. Systematize your business so you are an owner, not an operator When you can’t work, does your business still work? How can you remove yourself from day-to-day operation? Systematize tasks, if you're not able to work, your business must still work. </code></pre><p>This story is so crazy that it seems like it was made up for a movie script. </p><p>We all feel so blessed to be alive. Definitely some divine intervention at play.
