How Will I Get Through This? - Video

This is the third in a three part series of Overcoming Obstacles. The first was, “You Can’t Get There From Here” and it examined the paralytic man in Mark 2 that had to be carried on his mat to get to a house where Jesus was teaching. Everyone would not let him in so he came in through the roof. He went around his obstacle. The second in the series was “Head On Collision” where David faced Goliath, head on. And what a collision it was. I don’t know a bigger obstacle to face than death. And I don’t think a series on overcoming obstacles would be complete without taking a look at overcoming death. Now, you might immediately think of someone close to you and their death, but, “How Will I Get Through This?” is about our death. We will all face death one day. We may or may not know when, where or how we will die, but our physical life will one day stop. You don’t have to be a Christian to believe in the spiritual side of your life and if you give it much thought, it is often the spiritual side of our lives that have rich meaning and understanding. But if you are a Christian, you know that we are spiritual people in a physical body. This last message examines how you can “go through” and obstacle like death and remain alive.
