How To Please God

The believer's ambition is different from the ambitions of this world. Pride and selfish desires often drive worldly ambitions. A love for what is honorable drives the Christian's ambition. For the believer, what is honorable is to be pleasing to God. As well, the Christian's ambition is not affected by one's state or situation. In the words of Scripture, the believer's ambition is to strive to please God "whether at home or absent" (2 Corinthians 5:9).
