Actually this is part of a trio and maybe more - I call it the Larry Series!!  I’m your host Jennifer, aka The Glam Reaper and I am delighted to share all my knowledge and experiences through my podcast episodes. Together with my special guests we talk all about different aspects of life, love, loss, and a dip into the funeral world because that is the world in which I live and love. In today’s episode, I have one of my favorite people in the funeral industry with us! We have Larry Stuart Jr. He owns a business called Cremation Strategies & Consulting and works intimately with funeral industry greats CANA and ICCFA. Larry is also a Certified Funeral Celebrant and believes that every life deserves to be honored and remembered. This is the second part of my wonderful conversation with Larry. As we continue with our conversation about bringing value to services that we offer to our clients. We have to start within ourselves. We have to think that we are worthy as people ask for our services that they need. Funerals ARE an industry, it IS a business. There is profit and loss, there is demand and supply and we need to recognise funerals as a business and stop annihilating them for making a profit from their services.  Added to this conversation is how people should look at the funeral industry especially in this COVID19 pandemic - they were the last responders and worked 24/7 and saw dead bodies pile up but they got no praise or reward but further annihilation in the press/media.
