Description
Do you ever feel a little bit lost on your college campus? Like you don't quite fit in anywhere, or everything you try just isn't working? From trying to make friends to striving for those good grades, having it all figured out in college can be difficult. I try to remind myself that it's okay to fall down and I will eventually find my place if I just keep picking myself back up, but sometimes it can help to have someone who has actually been through it tell you the same. In this week's episode, you'll hear from someone who has gone through what might not be considered a "typical" college experience, but who found her place regardless and has plenty of helpful tips for you to do the same! Katie Hunzinger is a PhD student studying biomechanics at the University of Delaware; this comes after a long road of switching colleges multiple times as an undergrad, turning down athletic scholarships and a full-ride ROTC scholarship, and finally finding her place and graduating at the top of her class before getting her masters and now working toward her PhD. This is an inspiring story that you don't want to miss! Connect with Katie here! https://twitter.com/HunzingerUD Connect with A Genuine Girl!
