<p>The writers Kurt Vonnegut (<a href="https://geni.us/gYIX" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><em>Slaughterhouse Five</em></a>) and Joseph Heller (<a href="https://geni.us/J3zO" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><em>Catch-22</em></a>) were at a glamorous party outside New York City. Standing in the palatial second home of the billionaire host, Vonnegut began to needle his friend.
