How participating in case-competitions can built a 'Can Attitude' in you?

<p>Have you ever heard your mentor, professor, friend or guest encourage you to participate in case competitions in Universities?</p> <p>Well, I had come across many who gave me this advice and I was not very convinced. The reasons for me were pretty clear.&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Fear of failure&nbsp;</li> <li>Working in a random group of students/colleagues&nbsp;</li> <li>The questions not relating to my field of interest of major&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>And of course a rebel attitude, why should I?&nbsp;</p> <p>Well, now I give a chance to everything first then form my opinions. Since the 1st year of my masters, I started participating in case competitions and my thinking completely changed. Again for some more obvious reasons&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Developed a critical problem-solving approach&nbsp;</li> <li>Built confidence through pitching&nbsp;</li> <li>Harnessed teamwork and collaborative spirit&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>So, I felt, it is time I invite an expert in the Australian landscape who is working relentlessly to create and offer such interesting case problems but wrapped up in a game format that every Australian student is loving.
