You might be thinking that it’s expensive to run a business or you need a bunch of capital to pay for startup fees, BUT the nice thing about starting up a business like online fitness coaching is that you are not selling a physical product, you are selling information. Because of this fact, there really aren’t that many startup fees or expenses when you first start and if you are smart you can start your business for ZERO dollars. The reason why I know this is because I did this EXACT thing back in 2018 when I started my fitness coaching business. There are all of these “premium” software out there that cut into your bottom line from the beginning and you don’t need them to. For example, Instagram can replace your website, which will save you $20-$50 per month. Other social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Tik Tok are completely free to create your account, and your content there will be your marketing material. Your application page can just be a simple google form or the FREE version of Typeform. You’ll then need to build out a workout and meal plan which we recommend Trainerize to all of our students and this one will cost you a little bit of money, around $50-$250 depending on what package you choose.
