How Long Have You Believed The Lie? - Episode 253

<p>What’s holding you back what negative thought that you’ve said so much to yourself that you believe it</p> <p> </p> <p>The devil is a liar</p> <p> </p> <p>In <a href= "http://www.christianity.com/bible/search/?ver=niv&q=john+8:44"> John 8:44</a>, the Word of God states specifically that the devil is not only a liar but the father of all lies: “When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”</p> <p> </p> <p>Contrary to what he may like us to believe, the devil is a defeated foe. Since the battle with him takes place on a spiritual plane, according to <a href= "http://www.christianity.com/bible/search/?ver=niv&q=ephesians+6%3a12-13"> Ephesians 6:12-13</a>, we need to strengthen the battlefield — our minds — in order to stand our ground spiritually and gain victory over him.</p> <p>You have the power of life and death in your mouth.<span class= "Apple-converted-space"> </span> You can curse or bless your self, your situation, your day.<span class= "Apple-converted-space"> </span> You have the power to walk with God or reject Him,<span class= "Apple-converted-space"> </span></p> <p> </p> <p>You can ask for God's forgiveness and then forgive yourself.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span> You have more power than you realize, more than you use.</p> <p> </p> <p>Because of the lies we tell ourselves<span class= "Apple-converted-space"> we suffer and waste our life.</span></p> <p>What you identify as a lie— give it to God.<span class= "Apple-converted-space"> </span> Speak life to your situation.</p> <p> </p> <p>But beware..</p> <p> </p> <p>You don’t have the strength to fight the devil on your own.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span> He could actually kill you, or help you kill yourself but he can’t ready your mind, or take your soul.<span class= "Apple-converted-space"> </span> He can make you walk out of fellowship with God.<span class= "Apple-converted-space"> </span> He can steal, kill and destroy your faith, and make you impotent, lost, and alone.<span class="
