Compassion begins with proximity</strong>. Luke 7:12-13 (NLT) A funeral procession was coming out as he approached the village gate. The young man who had died was a widow’s only son, and a large crowd from the village was with her. When the Lord saw her, His heart overflowed with compassion. “Don’t cry!” He said.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p><strong>Prayer 1:</strong> Heavenly Father, please give me eyes that see.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>2. Compassion sprouts with insight</strong>. Luke 7:12 (NLT) …The young man who had died was a widow’s only son…&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Prayer 2:</strong> Heavenly Father, please give me a heart that discerns. 3. Compassion touches through spontaneity. Luke 7:14a (NIV) Then Jesus went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still.
