The <strong>complexity of the climate crisis requires </strong>global, national, and local actions informed by multidisciplinary research.</p> <p><br></p> <p>The goal of Creative Commons’ multi-year Open Climate Campaign is to <strong>promote open access to research</strong> that will accelerate progress towards solving the climate crisis and preserving global biodiversity.</p> <p><br></p> <p>If we are going to solve our global challenges, the <strong>global knowledge … meaning the research, data, educational resources, and software </strong>… must be open and available to all.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Interview Guest:</p> <p><strong>Dr. Monica Granados</strong> has a PhD in ecology from McGill University. While working on her PhD, <strong>Monica discovered incentives in academia which promote practices that make knowledge less accessible</strong>.
