How are communication skills and interpersonal skills related?

<p>It seems like the two skills should go together. The ability to understand and interact with others effectively must include the ability to relay understanding, knowledge and ideas through communication... right?</p> <p>And being "good" at communication (ie getting your point across) but clueless about how you are affecting others would be deemed "bad communication." </p> <p>Which then made me wonder why we teach "communication skills" when in reality what is likely needed is interpersonal skills.</p> <p>Fortunately, Daisy Cedeño MS, Karen Loomis, Michael Davis and Dr. Cole Galloway joined me to explore where communication and interpersonal skills meet or diverge. </p> <p>What do you think?
