Description

Today temperatures will dip a bit into the low to mid-90’s behind a weak cool front that moved through the area with some shower and storm activity yesterday evening and overnight. This precipitation was north and east of a line from Stratton, NE to Oberlin to Hill City, KS. Today high-pressure will move in as the front and lingering showers and storms move off to the east. Hot and mostly dry weather conditions will continue tomorrow and Thursday as high-pressure ridge sits and builds over the Rockies pushing the main Jet all the way to the Canadian border. High will be in the 90’s to around 100 and lows in the 60’s. Late Friday into Saturday we will see chances for some scattered showers and isolated storms as another weak disturbance and associated cool front moves through dropping daytime temperatures closer to normal in the upper 80’s and low 90’s.
