<p><strong>SERMON OUTLINE (08/01/23)</strong></p> <p><strong>Hope in God: Psalm 131: 1-3</strong></p> <ol> <li><strong>The Introduction:</strong> Is our hope in God?</li> </ol> <p>1.1 <strong>Big Idea:</strong> To encourage us as we look at two things from Psalm 131: 1-3 to hope in God (1-3)</p> <ol> <li>The first thing to look &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;at is; we must turn off the noise in our hearts (1)</li> <li>The second thing to look &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;at is; we must draw near to God (2)</li> <li><strong>Conclusion:</strong> the exhortation: These two things &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;that we have looked at from Psalm 131 vv1-3 to help us to hope in God – &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;will we hope in God and do them (1-3)</li> </ol> <p><strong>Reflection:</strong> Do you hope in God? Have you turned off the noise in your heart to help you to hope in God? Do you draw near to God to help you to hope in Him?
