Description
<p>When the children woke up, their most pressing need was for food and that was solved when Dicey went to the store they had passed and bought potatoes and applies and milk and a fishing hook. The young man working in the store told Dicey about clamming and so she had hope that they would find enough to eat. As it turns out, they discovered mussels which they could eat at lunch and then they had clams for supper. Dicey went off by herself for a while and met a couple of young teenagers also on the run. While shew as away, James fell on the rocks and hurt himself and there was a worry about a major accident but by the end of the chapter, James was much better and they were good to move on the next day.</p>
