Hollywood star, Michael K. Williams found dead

<p>Hollywood actor, Michael Kenneth Williams is dead. He died Monday afternoon at the age of 54.</p>, <p>The star was discovered dead in his Brooklyn penthouse residence, the New York Police confirmed.</p>, <p>Investigators reportedly found drug paraphernalia (suspected heroine) near his body.</p>, <p>His rep, Marianna Shafran said the family of the deceased wants privacy as they grieve.</p>, <p>Williams’ performance as Montrose Freeman in HBO’s Lovecraft Country earned him a 2021 Emmy nomination for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series.</p>, <p>He featured in When They See Us as Bobby McCray and was best known for his role as Omar Little in The Wire.</p>, <p>Williams was Chalky White in Boardwalk Empire for which he won a SAG Award for best ensemble.</p>, <p>Born in Flatbush, his earliest roles in the 1990s include Bullet and Mugshot.</p>, <p>HBO in a statement said they were devastated to learn of the passing of “a member of the family for more than 20 years”.</p>
