Hit and run vehicle kills man, injures another in Delta community

<p>A hit and run vehicle has killed a man and injured another at Okuokoko community in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State.</p>, <p>The incident occurred at about 7:30 pm on Friday, at Jesu-Ovie junction, DAILY POST learnt.</p>, <p>Sources hinted that the victim simply identified as “Baba” was crossing the road when the hit and run vehicle (a white Lexus) knocked him down, leaving his skull burst open.</p>, <p>The hit and run vehicle also injured another person who was coming down from his vehicle parked by the side of the road.</p>, <p>He has been rushed to the hospital for treatment.</p>, <p>The President-General of Okuokoko community, Evang. Believe Otatohwoma, who spoke to our correspondent, expressed sadness over the development.</p>, <p>He described it as a big loss to the family of the deceased and the entire community.</p>
