On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Colm Liddy who is a historian and author to discuss Clare's deep, distant and fascinating past. Colm discussed the early arrival of Vikings into Ireland, how the Irish responded to viking invasions, and the impact the vikings had on Clare as they began to settle down. Colm also spoke about the archaeological evidence of vikings in Clare and their longest lasting legacy.
