Description

In this episode, we talk to Hilary O who shares her journey of recovery that began at a very early age. Hilary opens up about how much she was in delusion about being an alcoholic and how she had always thought she was making a choice when she picked up the first drink. She found herself comparing her story to other's stories and not seeing herself. She shares about the freedom she found after another alcoholic woman took her through the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, where she was finally able to concede to her innermost self that she was a real alcoholic.

All donations help us to provide programs and services – including Family Support – to alcoholic women and their families, at absolutely no cost.
