He’s in an unfair situation at Old Trafford – Alan Shearer on Man Utd attacker

<p>Newcastle United legend, Alan Shearer believes Manchester United attacker Rasmus Hojlund is in an ‘unfair situation’ at Old Trafford.</p>, <p>Hojlund has scored five goals in four UEFA Champions League games this season.</p>, <p>But he is yet to find the net in nine Premier League appearances for the Red Devils.</p>, <p>The Denmark international missed two great chances in Man United’s 1-0 victory over Luton Town last weekend before he was forced off in the closing stages with a hamstring injury.</p>, <p>However, Shearer believes another striker needed to be added to Erik ten Hag’s squad in order to ease the burden on Hojlund.</p>, <p>“Well, he Hojlund has not set Old Trafford alight yet, has he?” Shearer told Premier League Productions.</p>, <p>“In terms of his performances, he’s certainly been better in Europe than he has been in the Premier League.</p>, <p>“I like his movement, yes, he is very raw. It is probably an unfair situation to be putting him in.</p>, <p>“Ideally, you’d like to drip-feed him in, put him in for one or two, bring him out, bring him on for half an hour, leave him out for the next game.”</p>
