Henriette Højsteen

Henriette Højsteen, Principal of the Slottet Care Home in Copenhagen, Denmark, talks about running an LGBT+ care home. In developing our rainbow profile for people coming into our care home, we had to learn to be norm critical, so that we could develop our LGBT+ competence. Our four step course included being aware of history, culture and society, and sexuality in later life, but most of all to provide space to talk and listen.
