Helping Chicago's Homeless Community Feel More Human

<p>In episode 385, I chat with <a href= "https://www.linkedin.com/in/nealkarski/">Neal Karski</a> who started an events company at a young age but also noticed a problem in his hometown.  He talks about the influence his parents have had on his work ethic, how overcoming cancer encouraged him to want to help others more, why he started helping the homeless community in Chicago with his nonprofit, <a href= "https://streetsamaritans.org/">Street Samaritans</a>, what he learned from doing interviews with the homeless community, why the homeless crave recognition and connection and his advice for those that want to help their community. </p>
