Heat Advisory Today; Hot & Mostly Dry This Weekend & Next Week; Some Daily Isolated Late Day Evening Storm Chances

<p>Weather pattern with ridge and high-pressure over Southwest stretching into the Plains will remain in place today, through the weekend and most of next week.  This means we will continue see highs in the upper 90’s and 100’s, lows in in the upper 60’s and daily isolated late afternoon and evening storm chances with disturbance working over top of the ridge in the northern Plains and impulses coming off the Rockies.  Today highs will hit triple digit readings with a heat advisory in place for locations east Hwy 25 then Saturday temps drop a bit back mid to upper 90’s through the weekend.  Monday and Tuesday the 4-corners ridge amplifies again reaching into Plains and highs climb back into the 100’s.  Along with the 100-degree heat, breezy south winds, and low afternoon relative humidity will elevate fire concerns and some heat high wind downbursts at night.</p>
