HEARD: Chippewa Valley Food Industry Podcast #1

<p>Sara and Ryan introduce us to this new podcast that focuses on the restaurant industry in the Chippewa Valley. We learn a little more about these two in a preview of what will be the type of stories we’ll hear during the series..</p> <p>Ryan has a long history in the service industry from starting as a dishwasher at Ron’s to his current position at The Hilltop. Sara runs The Cranky Buzzard after coming up through the industry too.</p> <p>They also discuss cooking in the kitchen at the current Cranky Buzzard building and its previous establishments. The building dates back to the mid 1800s.</p> <p>What’s it like to be an owner/manager and try to take a day off. Sometimes it leads to “ghost stories” like Sara came back too.</p> <p>The sense of “belonging” that exists in a community such as ours.</p>
