Description

A high-pressure ridge holds its grip over the Great Basin today and tomorrow leading to dry and warmer conditions with highs in the 90’s locally. Dew points today in the 50’s will increase to 60-degrees tomorrow with influx of humidity and breezy southeast winds. Midweek the ridge weakens and zonal flow over the Rockies and lee troughing, will produce pieces of energy over the Palmer divide and eastern Plains Colorado during the afternoons, that reach the KS/CO borders in evenings with scattered showers and isolated storms Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Daytime temperatures will be normal for mid-July highs in the upper 80’s and low 90’s and lows 60-65-degrees.
