Hannie Schaft- a college student from Haarlem who joined the resistance at age 20 and asked to be trained for assassinations. Two of her best friends were Jews and their struggle opened her eyes to German atrocities. She was sought after by the Nazis who knew her only as the "red haired girl". Truus and Freddie Oversteegan- two teenage girls who also became Nazi killers and teamed with Hannie Schaft on some missions. Jack Van der Geest- a Dutch and French resistance fighter who was one of only 7 men to escape Buchenwald.
