ABOUT HANAKO GREENSMITH<br /><br />Hanako Greensmith (pronounced Hah-na-co) made her CHICAGO FIRE debut as "Violet" in Season 8, recurring on the show through Seasons 8 and 9 and will join the cast as a series regular for Season 10. Currently her character, paramedic Violet Mikami, is involved in a romantic relationship with her boss, Chief Hawkins, played by Jimmy Nicolas. Recent credits include NBC's CHICAGO MED, CBS's BULL, and CBS's FBI. She made her New York theatre debut in the off-Broadway production of LOLITA, MY LOVE and is a graduate of Pace University.<br /><br />About her character: VIOLET is a fun, cool, sexy, ball-busting, confident, capable paramedic. At the top of her game, and she knows it. Full of swagger, her skill can be intimidating but mostly she's impressive.
