Halloween Special 2023: Andrew Keegan-Bolger TALKS 'Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors'

I am so excited that actor, author, director, and filmmaker Andrew Keenan-Bolger helped the Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast celebrate Halloween this year! <br /><br />Andrew starred as Jesse Tuck on <i>Tuck Everlasting </i>on Broadway, where he was nominated for a Drama League Award. He also created the role of Crutchie in the Original Broadway Cast of <i>Newsies,</i> where he was nominated for an Outer Critics Circle Award. Andrew reprised his role in the record-breaking <i>Newsies: The Broadway Musical Film.</i> He also appeared in the Broadway casts of <i>Mary Poppins, Seussical, Beauty and the Beast, </i>and <i>A Christmas Carol</i>. Andrew also appeared on the First National Tours of<i> Spelling Bee, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Mary Poppins,</i> and <i>Ragtime</i>. <br /><br />He also appeared on several TV shows including <i>The Undoing </i>(HBO), <i>The Blacklist </i>(NBC), <i>The Other Two</i> (HBO), <i>The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel </i>(Amazon), <i>Nurse Jackie</i> (Showtime), and <i>One Life to Live</i> (ABC). Several media outlets, including <i>Entertainment Weekly, New York Magazine, the New York Times,</i> and <i>Rolling Stone</i>, highlighted Andrew Keenan-Bolger’s film work. He is the director of the award-winning short films <i>Sign</i> and <i>The Ceiling Fan</i> and co-author of the Penguin Random House children’s series <i>Jack &amp; Louisa. </i> <br /><br />Andrew Keegan-Bolger stars as Harker in the Off-Broadway production of <i>Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors</i>. The play takes place in the treacherous mountains of Transylvania, where a meek English real estate agent makes a harrowing journey to meet a mysterious client – who happens to be the legendary Count Dracula (James Daly).
