On today's episode, we will discuss growing up learning specific gender roles and dealing with gender stereotypes when growing up in a south Asian household. Growing up in a Asian Household, most of us women are told we need to learn to cook for our in-laws and learn to clean while our brothers are not told to learn the same....and WHY IS THAT? That women not learning these things will bring some sort of shame to the family yet the boy not learning this will not? The job of a women, a wife, and a mother are so underestimated!
